We never charge based on your refund. Fees are based on the complexity, document volume, and scope of work.

For e-filed returns, bank, processing, and transmission fees may apply. These fees are separate from preparation fees and will be disclosed before e-file.

Payment policy: all fees are due before your return is submitted, except when you select our “Pay with Refund” option.

What could increase my price from the “starting at” amount?
Extra states, additional forms, complex deductions, multiple rentals, advanced Schedule C needs, depreciation, crypto, K-1s, bookkeeping cleanup, or high document volume may require add-ons. You’ll always get a quote first.
What’s included with Community Pricing ($0)?
Community Pricing is for taxpayers whose income is below the IRS standard deduction and who have a simple return. It generally includes Federal + 1 state, simple W-2 or unemployment income, direct deposit setup, and refund guidance.
Do you still offer memberships?
Yes. Year-Round Tax Support Memberships may still be available as an optional support plan, but traditional tax preparation and business support services are priced separately.
Are Business Support documents legal documents?
No. Business Support documents are administrative and tax-related document preparation services only. They do not replace legal agreements, attorney-prepared documents, audits, reviews, or assurance services.
Can you prepare a Profit & Loss statement for a lender?
Yes, if the client provides the income and expense records needed. P&L statements are prepared from client-provided information and are not audited or reviewed financial statements.
What is “Pay with Refund”?
Pay with Refund may allow qualifying clients to have certain fees deducted from their refund. Bank, processing, and transmission fees may apply and are separate from preparation fees.
